I don’t paint walls. It doesn’t appeal to me and honestly, my home decor style is very clean and classic. Neutral tones, coastal and simple. So when we were putting together James’ room, we decided that we weren’t going to paint. But we also needed to do something.
After consulting my trusty friend, the internet, I happened upon wall decals. We made the decision that it would be a great way to decorate his room.
It’s a great way to not only decorate on budget but allows for creativity.
They’re easily removable and you can switch them up at anytime. Nowadays, there are also so many great options to choose from.
I know when James lays in his crib, especially during the daytime, I often find him looking at them. I like to think it’s a great way to spur his imagination with these woodland creatures.
This is such a fun, creative and inexpensive option. Later on, it gives you the flexibility to move them around with your child’s help. (Either with the same set or a new one!) It’s a great option to explore, if you’re looking for something a little different and budget friendly!
(So we used Roommates decals. Click the link for the site but they’re also available in stores like Toys R Us, Home Depot and Lowes)
