James has had: Banana, Butternut Squash, Carrots, Sweet Potato, Apple, Peanut Butter, Eggs, Peas, Blueberries, Raspberries, Spinach, Beef, chicken, turkey puree, Pear, Pumpkin. Cauliflower and of course oatmeal cereal. Thus far. I’m planning on introducing fish this week and also giving him peanut butter again. It’s a slow process because when you’re introducing everything, you have to wait a few days to make sure there is no reaction.
I’m making most of it by myself. I’m trying to get the introduction process over with, so that I can start giving him more variety. I essentially plan to give him what we eat. Except James size and texture. I still feel incredibly lost. My doctors are like give him everything and anything except honey. My mom says the same thing. Google, our dear friend google does not agree. But I’m just going with my doctor. Albeit it slowly.
I really wanted to make everything myself and for the most part I am, but it’s confusing and overwhelming. Right now, because I’m still introducing everything, he gets puree/solids once a day. I’m just worried, I’m doing it wrong and thus going to create some sort of picky eater.
I’ve decided I’m going to create a guide because honestly, there are very few out there. I just really hope I’m doing right by James. I really thought this process would be more enjoyable but it’s actually much more stressful than I had anticipated. Nonetheless, we’re in it now!
